Data collection

When you visit our website, your IP address and session duration are recorded for technical reasons. This is done in accordance with Art 6 Paragraph 1 lit f DSGVO. Your data will not be processed further unless required by other regulations.

Contact

If you contact us through the website form or email, we may store your data for up to six months to process your request and address any follow-up questions. We do not share your data without your consent.

Some long-form papers on this site are unlocked with a short form. If you fill it in, we store your name, company and email address together with the time you ticked the consent box, and we use them to send you the paper and occasional email about related work. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to privacy@mindthread.at, after which we delete your details from that list.

Ad measurement (ChatGPT ads)

On /get-started we can use the measurement pixel of OpenAI to learn whether a visit that started with one of our ads in ChatGPT ended in a call request. Mindthread Technology GmbH is the controller. The pixel only loads after you click "Accept" in the cookie notice on that page. If you click "Decline" or do nothing, it is never loaded and no data goes to OpenAI.

Once you allow it, the following is processed:

• Two first-party cookies: __oppref holds the ad click identifier from the oppref link parameter and expires 30 days after it is written; __obref holds a browser reference and expires 365 days after it is created.
• A "lead created" event when you send the contact form on that page, together with the technical data any request carries, such as your IP address and browser details.
• The pixel's automatic advanced matching detects the email address you type into the form and sends OpenAI a SHA-256 hash of it. The address itself is not sent, but the hash still counts as personal data because it can be matched to an account.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time with the same effort it took to give it: open /get-started, click "Cookie settings" below the form and choose "Decline". We then tell the pixel to stop and delete both cookies from your browser. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and transfer your data. You can also revoke consent and object to data processing.
